Literature Text

Raylee, that was the name of a male human who roamed the night streets looking for something to do, it could be anything. Tonight he was leaning against a broken street lamp, waiting for something to happen.

He sighed, "Ugh, nothin to do." His jacket briskly rippled at the chilly wind. No one was around him either, no one to talk to, he was all alone on this cold night. After a moment of thought, he swore he could hear something in the sky and looked up. Due to the lack of light, he could see only the moon and stars, nothing out of the ordinary. But he heard it again and looked around some more. It sounded like the flapping of leather in the wind, but he couldn't hear it before so why now? He looked up again and to his surprise, he saw that the moon was being blocked out. A figure shadowed it, one with wide wings and a long neck.

All Ray could make out was a shadow, no real information, but the image was enough to spook him and make him move from his lazy position. Just as he got to a normal stance he started walking to the right along the sidewalk, anything to leave the scene. Unluckily for him, the creature followed in the sky just as quickly, like it was taunting him. After a minute of walking and occasionally looking behind him, Ray broke into a cold sweat and started sprinting. Even though the figure was shadowed to Ray, it saw him clearly trying to escape by running along the white sidewalk.

It was too late to turn back now that it's prey had noticed it, and the figure swooped down in a different direction, out of Ray's sight. When he turned again to see his pursuers position, he was relieved to find that the figure was nowhere to be seen. He kept on moving, thinking about how he didn't need any trouble this late since no one would be around to assist him. Also, his buddies were expecting him at their house later tonight for a gaming session, but because of his recent affair he decided sooner was better than later and headed for it the house immediately.

From behind a shadowed wall, a creature with seemingly glowing yellow eyes was staring at the troubled human, and Ray noticed it from the corner of his eye.

"What the hell? Who's there? This isn't funny!" He shouted, his voice faltering. The only response he could hear was the low growling sound of something big.

Ray stood still and was fixed on the lurking creature which was now clearly making its move. Ray took a step back in fear as he saw the scaled foot of something huge appear from the shadows, causing the ground to shake with each step. Shortly after, the creature revealed it's head and Ray jumped backward with a yelping sound and tripped on the lawn behind him, making him fall down.

"Ah! Wha- No, go away dammit! Stop following me!" Ray said, but the creature had no sense of mercy and kept approaching, revealing that it was a huge, green, reptile with two large wings currently folded in. A dragon had chosen him to hunt down.

As Ray laid on the grass, stiff from fear, the dragon eventually got close enough to where it could reach it's neck over Ray and look down at him.

"Aww, you poor helpless thing. But what must be done has to be done." The dragon spoke Ray's language which was surprising but didn't matter right now to him. He was very vulnerable and feared for his life, but still didn't try to move.

"Wait, you don't understand, I have a meeting in a few minutes and the guys there will be pissed if I don't show up!" Ray said, his voice was way too sketchy to sound like he meant what he said, but even if what he said was true, the relentless predator didn't care and brought it's head much closer to Ray's face.

"I'll relieve you of that duty, then you won't have to worry about a thing." The dragon said with an unconvincing grin. Fear again struck Ray and caused him to finally make a move. He sat up very quickly and nearly missed hitting his head on the bottom of the dragon's currently closed mouth. The dragon wasted no time and without warning, opened it's mouth, revealing it's many, surprisingly blunt teeth. Then it pulled it's head back and shut it's jaws right over Ray's head, enveloping his vision with pure darkness. It had not used its teeth but Ray felt terrible all the same and tried to strike his fists against the dragon's head in frustration. Ray's head was becoming increasingly slick with saliva and he hated every moment of it. The humid breath of the dragon wasn't helping either.

"NO, HELP! SOMEONE!" Ray yelled as loud as possible, but only muffled sounds were audible. Then, the dragon grabbed Ray's lower half and rose him up to a horizontal position, making Ray squirm even more as he felt the change. The helpless human was pushed further into the dragon's large, roomy mouth with it's clawed front paw. Ray felt himself slide along dragon's slightly bumpy tongue as he neared the entrance to its throat. He couldn't see a thing and had his eyes clamped shut as to not let anything in them. The fact that the dragon had yet to use its teeth made Ray wonder and become angry at the same time. He thought it might be playing with him, with his fragile life.

Ray kept sliding along in the wetness of the dragon's mouth and eventually felt his legs begin to enter with him. He also felt the top of his head press against something squishy at the back of the dragon's mouth. After quickly realizing what was about to happen, Ray frantically squirmed for his life. To his dismay, it was no use, and he was at the mercy of the big creature. Without a second thought, the dragon takes its first gulp. It's throat muscles get a hold on Ray and begin pulling him down. It was very tight and slippery for him, and he created a bulge in the dragon's neck which it enjoyed very much. The dragon kept gulping him down, causing his journey to shorten with each one. When he finally felt his feet become sucked through the dragon's lips he knew it was all over. His arms were bound by the tight throat muscles and legs were completely useless at the moment.

The dragon took it's final gulp and sent Ray in his entirety sliding down its throat in a slow and uncontrollable decent. Despite his fearful situation, he noticed how warm and cozy it felt as he slid down. Even in this time of distress he still found some pleasure in it. Those thoughts were not there for long as he felt himself finally breach the opening to the dragon's stomach and drop in. As he entered he made a bulge visible from outside. The stomach walls squeezed him tight and restricted his movement, but even then he tried his hardest to do something, launching petty attacks at his surroundings.

Seeing how this prey in particular was very pleasurable, unlike so many before, the dragon made a quick change of heart and decided to do something else instead of killing the poor, helpless person.

"You know what? You're a special one. I think I'll keep you in there for a bit so don't worry about a thing, you'll be fine." The dragon tried to sound comforting, but the only thing Ray felt was that he was getting a break and moving so much. Ray had become very tired but at least he had some hope of survival. It's not like he had a choice from this point on anyway, so he tried to get comfortable. Somehow, he hadn't noticed that he was not being dissolved in stomach acid until this moment, and he calmed down because of it.

After what seemed like ages, Ray started becoming very sleepy and decided to end this odd nightmare with a good rest. Just before he fell asleep to the dragon's soothing heartbeat and breathing stomach movements, he hoped that he would get out of the situation safe and sound, no matter what it took.
This story steps out of my series and is more of a random one. This was originally an experiment so I hope you like what you see!
